Another reason for keeping packages is that sometimes I need an old package for the newer oS, and they tend to become impossible to get 2 years later when I find I need that library or compare some behaviour. What are the semantics of "keeppackages must be turned on" here? Logically it must be turned on for keeping any downloaded package.
