- The "Expert" menu is not a menu anymore. Previously it contained o reread partition table (now in unused devices -> rescan)
Also in 'Hard Disks -> Rescan Disks'. Does the exactly the same thing 'Reread partition table' menu item did before.
o call iscsi configuration (seems to be not available anymore)
It is available, but has been moved to 'Hard Disks->Configure' menu (+ some additional items, such as call multipath or call dasd on s390 machine were added). Actually, I was thinking about moving this menu button to the top level (i.e. where all storage devices are listed), where it imho makes much more sense.
o delete partition table and disk label (maybe create partition table now)
If you choose create partition table from the menu, it will of course delete existing partition table and create it anew. But there is no explicit 'delete partition table' menu item.
If we offer to create a partition table, we probably should consider offering to change to a GPT disk label as well. However I don't dare to click on create partition table because this is not my machine.
If you dared to click on 'create partition table' ;-) you'd see that the very first dialogs lets you select between GPT and MSDOS partition table type.
In previous versions, foreign partitions (which seem to be called "unused devices" now, which is at least strange) were mounted to /data directories. Although the mount point may be strange, the old solution made access to the "Unused Devices" way easier.
Hmm .. this is something I can't decide and have to wait for Arvin to comment on. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
