http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=929435 Bug ID: 929435 Summary: The ISO image is just a little bit too large Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: 13.2 Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE 13.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: bkorb@gnu.org QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/42.0.2311.135 Safari/537.36 Build Identifier: Barring some compulsory need to really get every last byte out of the most sophisticated DVD writer, it would be helpful to migrate a little stuff off of the image. I just finished burning (with K3B on a fairly new DVD burner using Verbatim 4.7GB blanks). I got 4.399 of 4.46GB of data. So maybe constrain the size to 4.2 GB? Meanwhile, I'll see if I can loop mount the thing, pull stuff I don't need, construct a new ISO and see if I can get that to work. It's a lot of hassle. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. use a burner and media that maybe does not really handle 4.7GB 2. 3. It'd be nice if you released an alternate, slightly smaller 13.2 dvd. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
