http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1168861 Bug ID: 1168861 Summary: No update notifications from GNOME package update Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 15.2 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: libzypp Assignee: zypp-maintainers@suse.de Reporter: aj@suse.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- I haven't seen any popups from the GNOME package update about new packages. But when I call it manually, I see that packages are available. Shouldn't I get a notification once a day? At least with 15.1 this worked fine, therefore raising severity since this is a regression. systemctl status packagekit ● packagekit.service - PackageKit Daemon Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/packagekit.service; static; vendor preset: disabled) Active: inactive (dead) Shouldn't this be running automatically? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
