https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=442318 Summary: partitioner cannot resize back to max size after shrinking Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Beta4 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: carlos.lange@ualberta.ca QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Beta-Customer Created an attachment (id=250351) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=250351) YaST2 logs of resizing attempts When installing 11.1b4, if I shrink a partition from its original size (16.3GB) and then try to resize it back to a larger size, the graphical resizer only accepts sizes that are smaller than the maximum showed (15GB). I.e. after shrinking the partition size to 13GB, I can only successfully enlarge the partition to 14GB, not to 15GB, which is the maximum value that the sliding rule gives. If I hit OK at the maximum value, the previous size of the partition remains intact. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
