https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=201068 ------- Comment #7 from osl@16hd.freeserve.co.uk 2007-03-05 13:21 MST ------- Not sure this helps, but the entire output from "hwinfo --storage" for device 17 is as follows: 17: None: 00.0:0101 IDE Interface Created at misc:347 Unique ID: rdCR:g9fwCxlufIOD (I think) Hardware class: storage Model: "IDE interface" Compatible to: Int 0x3000 0x1000 I/O Ports: 0x1f0-0x1f7 (rw) I/O Port: 0x3f6 (rw) I/O Ports: 0x170-0x177 (rw) I/O Port: 0x376 (rw) IRQ: 14 (233 events) IRQ: 15 (63 events) Driver info #0 Driver status: ide-generic is active Activation cmd: modprobe ide-generic Config Status: cfg=new, avail=yes, need=no, active=unknown BTW: lspci doesn't mention the interface at all, just a cardbus host bridge and the graphics adaptor. I read somewhere that the IDE on this machine is not part of the PCI subsystem, so maybe that's consistent. Maybe it's part of the problem too! -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
