https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=332303 Summary: After removing Beagle system does not hang anymore Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: richard.bos@xs4all.nl QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer After installing openSUSE-10.3 my system sometimes suddenly stopped (hung completely) while doing nothing special. It requires a power down to get the system back running. As I had something similar in openSUSE-10.2 (in that case it was less worse, as the system came at least back), I decided to remove Beagle. This was about 2 days ago. Since than I did not have the system hang. I think this happens becuase my desktop PC has its /home file system nfs mounted. The nfs server is a suse-9.3 system (I know that is not supported anymore). So, it's the combination of nfs and beagle that make my desktop system hang. I did not hint something related to this in /var/log/messages.... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
