Created a submission against GNOME:Factory with the following 'fixes':
In order to avoid the "Add/Remove Software" and "Install/Remove Software" duplication, we split out a gnome-packagekit-extra subpackage with gpk-application in it. The 'favorite' package manager is YaST in openSUSE, users that want to switch are welcome to do so by installing gnome-packagekit-extras.
(Reference: SR#41760)
This means that the gnome-packagekit-extra package will not be installed by default, right? What does this imply for double-click on local *.rpm files which are now handled by "package-manager" [which is a gnome-packagekit application]?
This will still work fine since it's not in extra. Except that it's not working right now (we have a bug about this), but that's another story. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
