Hi there!
After a bunch of tests (thanks @Knut for the help) I can confirm that the behavior changes when updating libQt5Gui5 to 5.15.5
When running older libQt5Gui5 5.15.2 it behaves as "expected", i.e., confirming the change. But, IMHO, it was a wrong behavior since the focus was in the dropdown not in the OK button. Weird.
So, I'd adapt the tests (probably there are more tests broken because of that change).
Hope it helps.
Thanks for investigating and confirming.
Welcome! I have tried to (quickly) find some useful reference in the qt release notes without success. - https://code.qt.io/cgit/qt/qtreleasenotes.git/about/qt/5.15.3/release-note.m... - https://code.qt.io/cgit/qt/qtreleasenotes.git/about/qt/5.15.4/release-note.m... - https://code.qt.io/cgit/qt/qtreleasenotes.git/about/qt/5.15.5/release-note.m...
I filed https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/113492 to have the test code adjusted
