https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=214875 Summary: kernel line not shown in YaST, alsthough it exists in the config file. Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Alpha 5 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: sven.burmeister@gmx.net QAContact: jsrain@novell.com I had alpha 5 installed and it did not show the kernel line from the config-files, i.e. it was shown as empty. I updated to factory (yesterday) and this is still the case. I'll attach the config-file, in case it is corrupted. Booting does work though. Another note: After updating to factory (is that called alpha5+?) the graphical boot-menu is gone, booting itself does however use the splash-screen. Further with alpha 5 I could choose the VGA-mode to use for booting from a drop-down menu, a very good idea IMHO, this is gone too. If that is a bug too, I'll file a seperate bug. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
