Can you install the scim-qtimm-debug RPM and repost the backtrace here so we can see where it's crashing? The debuginfos are available on the net installation source or you can get this one directly: http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/SL-10.1/inst-source/suse/x86_64/sc... MAKE SURE the version matches.
