In 10.3 they are recognized as follows: SATA 1 /dev/sda SATA 2 /dev/sdb IDE /dev/sdc The 10.3 partitioning is as follows: /dev/sda1 /boot ext2 /dev/sda2 /swap swap /dev/sda3 / ext3 /dev/sda4 /home ext3 /dev/sdc1 /Files ext3 /dev/sdb is empty When i am trying to install 11.0 Beta3 the hard drives are recognized as follows IDE /dev/sda SATA1 /dev/sdb SATA2 /dev/sdc When i am trying to upgrade the 10.3 partitions - he gives me one Partition which i can upgrade - /dev/sdb3 - which is logical. But when i select it YaST tries to mount the /boot and the /home and fails because he cannot mount /dev/sdc1 and /dev/sdc4 .
