But that's clearly a feature request, not a major bug. Apart from adding the missing calls to some menus, it will also change some assumptions that right now enable us to do certain things at all in the package selectors: It is currently assumed that no resolvables are added to or removed from the pool. This is currently crucial for handling selectables, and also for those workarounds around limitations of libzypp that make it hard to display a pattern's or a patch's content. The SelectableMapper comes to mind. BTW the way the package selectors work internally (that make it possible in the first place to do such sophisticated things in a high-level widget) it is not possible to call the existing YCP code from the C++ package selectors, even less with the upcoming mod-ui which will separate that part even further from all the YCP parts. Bottom line: That's a major change. Not quite so simple. This should be tracked in Fate IMHO.
