This doesn't work on my system. The call of ntpd -1 lasts about 2 minutes and more and return without adjusting the clock. I have the /etc/init.d/ntp startup script to use ntpdate again and this works as expected. The system has a fixed ip and is allways connected to the internet (not related to Bug#407804). I will attach the output of strace /usr/sbin/ntpd -c /etc/ntp.conf -q -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
