https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=308006 Summary: opensuseupdater-kde: updates available, but "install" button greyed out Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Beta 2 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: suse-beta@cboltz.de QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Created an attachment (id=162153) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=162153) screenshot opensuseupdater-kde just surprised me with a strange behaviour: - the icon got red (meaning updates are available) - there was *no* update notification dialog I then clicked the icon and got a dialog saying New software for your system is available Updates that affect your updater itself are available. Unfortunately only the "close" button is usable, the "install" button is greyed out. Therefore I can't install the update using opensuseupdater-kde. -> Isn't the updater supposed to update itsself? zypper.log and a screenshot are attached. BTW: When running YOU, I see the update-test-affects-package-manager patch as available for installation. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
