With modified udev rule to run biosdevname via strace. Not sure where em1 is actually coming from.
In dom0 the included dmidecode can not read from /dev/mem, and as a result there is no info about onboard devices. Since this worked with xenlinux based kernels its a regression. Its also reported as bug#974257
Ah, I see. Then this is due to your patch patches.suse/xen-pv-devmem_is_allowed.patch, isn't it? Don't you have a kernel message indicating the invalid /dev/mem access? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
