https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=727821 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=727821#c0 Summary: KDE Login Screen Should Display Clickable User Icons Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: RC 1 Platform: PC OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: malv_star@hotmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:7.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/7.0.1 In openSuSE 12.1, icons representing each desktop user were visible and clickable on the KDE login screen. This is no longer the case in the 12.1 release candidate - clickable names are gone, and the user must type their username in manually. This is inconvenient and confusing for "average" users, so the clickable list should be re-added to the login screen. Reproducible: Always Changing this would involve modifying the xml file present in the package kdm-opensuse-branding. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
