https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=366844 Summary: USB stick not recognized Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: timmi@gmx-topmail.de QAContact: qa@suse.de CC: timmi@gmx-topmail.de Found By: --- My USB stick isn't recognized by openSUSE 10.3. I've worked some months without problems with this USB stick. One day, I noticed that, when I was copying files to the stick, some of the files where not copied at all, others where on the stick of 0kB size. Finally, I have now this problem: - I plug in the USB stick and the usual window pops up (screenshot1.png), but it's not the icon of the mounted USB stick but of the unmounted. - When I open in Konqueror, then no file is displayed (screenshot2.png) - but there are files on the stick. - When I want copy files to the stick, I get an error message (screenshot3.png). The command "ls /mnt" shows nothing - no directory there. The same stick is working fine on 11.0 alpha 2 on the same computer. (I'm not shure about the right component to choose for this issue. When that's wrong, please correct it.) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
