There is some progress. 3 of the 10 powerpoint presentations that I tested previous played audio this time in LibreOffice Impres. The other 7 did not play audio. They all play audio in WinXP Powerpoint. I am not able to identify what audio format is in use in these presentations, although I did open them up with the 'bvi' binary editor to try and guess, looking for the common power point audio extensions .aiff, .au, .mid, .mp3, wav and .wma The three that played appeared to have either .aif (.aiff not found, but possibly extension was reduced to 3 letters), .mid, or .au. The seven that did not play appeared to have .wma, or .au or or .mid. I can not explain why some with .au or .mid appeared to play and some did not. Its possible my binary bvi search method is invalid for determining the audio type. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
