http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1171023 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1171023#c3 --- Comment #3 from Neil Rickert <nwr10cst-oslnx@yahoo.com> --- I don't normally use "btrfs" here. I have not had any problems with other linuxes booting openSUSE on "ext4". I have experimented with "btrfs". I first experimented back with openSUSE 13.1, when that was still in beta testing. And openSUSE 12.3 had problems with seeing that system using "btrfs". And I seem to remember (but not sure of this) that even openSUSE 13.1 had trouble with seeing another openSUSE 13.1 with "btrfs". My understanding, which could be wrong, is that part of the problem has to do with the way that openSUSE uses subvolumes in the "btrfs" system. And os-prober might miss the subvolume structure. However, openSUSE uses subvolumes the way it does so as to allow booting to an earlier read-only snapshot. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
