HEIC files seem to be common in the Apple world, yet we do not support them well on Tumbleweed. ImageMagick does not appear to handle them at all.
When I inquired how to handle those, Marcus Meissner suggested "to add libheif-devel to ImageMagick buildrequires", so maybe that's a viable approach?

Hey Gerarld, I already submitted a request to support HEIC file formats in ImageMagick, and it's already been accepted to the `graphics` project: https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/859756 We're now waiting for it to make its way to TW: https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/860130 If you want to convert those files now, you can install the package directly from the graphics project, otherwise keep an eye on that SR -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
