Also checked on Krecord and Audacity. Checked close to every possible Combination of Kmix channels. Alsa Mixer shows the same Problem Tried to modify /etc/modprobe.d/sound according to http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Intel-HDA_sound_problems does not help - headphone channel in Kmix/alsamixer cannot be regulated checked with Xine/Gstreamer Backend in KDE4 Systemsettings - no change The Headset works mechanically - it works in another Opensuse 11.1 (different soundcard) as well as in Windows XP (same PC) The strange thing is if i boost the Mic (and Mic Boost) Channel in Kmix - the I hear the the recorded sounds as clear (and very strong ) echo in my headphones - but no application is getting any recorded sound.
