https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=141443 ------- Comment #37 from mrmazda@ij.net 2006-12-04 08:05 MST ------- Following a mailing list response and comment 22 suggesting keystroke speed affected reproducibility, I tested 10.0 with a Keytronic keyboard, a 10.2 system with a Dell keyboard, and another 10.2 system with a Northgate keyboard. I found that consciously striking quickly enough on the Keytronic and Dell produced expected behavior. However, my old bones do not naturally move that quickly, and it is infinitely easy to produce the unwanted behavior moving at natural "speed". On the Northgate, I find it impossible to strike F7 quickly enough to not produce the unwanted behavior. Maybe the assignee could try a Northgate or Avant keyboard to try to reproduce with. Avant keyboards are high quality descendants of the high quality Northgates. http://www.cvtinc.com/products/keyboards/menu.htm -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
