With M7 the only action I get for my camera is "Download with DigiKam" again - no file manager/kio_kamera option. If I manually use camera:/ via Dolphin it works just fine. My Camera (Canon Ixus 70) is labeled as "USB Imaging Interface" by the recent device notifier widget. And dmesg sees it as "high speed usb device". /usr/share/kde4/apps/solid/actions/digikam-opencamera.desktop says: X-KDE-Solid-Predicate=[ [ StorageVolume.ignored == false AND StorageVolume.usage == 'FileSystem' ] OR Camera.supportedDrivers == 'gphoto' ] /usr/share/kde4/apps/solid/actions/solid_camera.desktop says: X-KDE-Solid-Predicate=[ Camera.supportedDrivers == 'gphoto' ] It seems to be a bit of a dilemma: The digiKam behaviour has the unfortunate side effect of offering a "download photos with DigiKam" action for normal usb sticks - even with no images actually on them. The kio_kamera behaviour has the unfortunate side effect of not offering a file manager options for cameras such as mine. I wonder if it's possible at all to make both behave in the desired way :-/ -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
