I tried installing openSUSE using MD for RAID and using the generic one (MD not enabled) and neither worked. Again, I don't know why this is happening now but it worked with previous versions and it also works just fine with Guidows 7, 8 and 2008, 2012 Servers Once the RAID has been configured using the BIOS tool it should work no matter which one is it RAID0 or 1, or 5, etc as long as the motherboard/RAID card supports it, the OS should get it to work.
