In the screenshot from comment #2, it seems that autofs was successfully stopped and something else was blocking the shutdown. I'd like to suggest the following: 1. Enable debugging in autofs (set DEFAULT_LOGGING to "debug" in /etc/sysconfig/autofs), so we can check the logs from the shutdown and see if it succeeded. 2. Disable the "filesystems" repository and update the distribution. This will downgrade all packages that were installed from that repository. After that, please install just autofs from the filesystems repository. I want to confirm that the problem is not being caused by some other package that was updated when you enabled the filesystems repository. After that, if you still can reproduce the problem, please grab a screenshot of ALT + SYSRQ + t when the system is blocked on shutdown. Also, please attach /var/log/messages containing the logs from the last shutdown that was blocked. Meanwhile, I'm trying to reproduce the problem here. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
