Could you please provide logs accordingly to the description here: https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Bugreport_wicked.
I rebuild the system using the latest openSUSE Tumbleweed image for RPi1 from RaspberryPi:/upstream/ . Most of the problems are gone now. I can boot the system with the cable connected and the Wi-Fi USB plugged in and both configuration active. Both interfaces become active and I can use both IP addresses to enter the system. There is one remaining issue. The ARP table in my desktop, from where I access the RPi, shows the same MAC address for both IP addresses of the two interfaces in the RPi. This raises a problem when that MAC address is from the Ethernet interface. Disconnecting the cable does not automatically changes the MAC address in the table to the one from the Wi-Fi interface, also not after some pings. "ip ne" keeps showing FAILED.
If everything is OK with wicked here (it seems so as per further explanations), interesting to see would be especially kernel part. What rp_filter setting do you use here?
I don't know what you mean by rp_filter? The main problem is not present any more. Do you need more information? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
