Stopped bluetooth, restarted dbus, started bluetooth, started kbluetooth: process 22240: arguments to dbus_message_new_method_call() were incorrect, assertion "_dbus_check_is_valid_path (path)" failed in file dbus-message.c line 1074. This is normally a bug in some application using the D-Bus library. D-Bus not built with -rdynamic so unable to print a backtrace KCrash: Application 'kbluetooth' crashing... I had the same trouble in 10.2. Perhaps it's because of the nokia connectivity card (dtl1_cs). It's a CF-card inserted in CF-Slot on ThinkPad. After ejecting the card kbluetooth starts. Inserting the card causes kbluetooth to crash. Here's /var/log/messages on inserting: Oct 11 22:15:37 nucleus kernel: pccard: PCMCIA card inserted into slot 1 Oct 11 22:15:37 nucleus kernel: pcmcia: registering new device pcmcia1.0 Oct 11 22:15:37 nucleus chipcardd[3554]: devicemanager.c: 3356: Changes in hardware list Oct 11 22:15:39 nucleus hcid[22331]: Bluetooth HCI daemon Oct 11 22:15:39 nucleus hcid[22331]: HCI dev 0 registered Oct 11 22:15:39 nucleus hcid[22331]: Starting SDP server Oct 11 22:15:39 nucleus hcid[22331]: Created local server at unix:abstract=/var/run/dbus-GwzHlXnDk5,guid=2abc497321a9adf3bcc2ca00470e846b Oct 11 22:15:39 nucleus input[22333]: Bluetooth Input daemon Oct 11 22:15:39 nucleus input[22333]: Registered input manager path:/org/bluez/input Oct 11 22:15:39 nucleus opd[22338]: OBEX Push Daemon - version 0.2 started Oct 11 22:15:40 nucleus hcid[22331]: Can't write class of device: Connection timed out (110) Oct 11 22:15:40 nucleus opd[22338]: OBEX Object Push service registered with sdpd Oct 11 22:15:40 nucleus opd[22338]: OBEX server listening on channel 10 Oct 11 22:15:49 nucleus hcid[22332]: Can't init device hci0: Connection timed out (110) I had these timeouts on late 10.2, too. I'm not sure, but I think, trouble started with kernel versions 2.6.22.6 or 2.6.22.7. Btw. Using a usb bluetooth device works. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
