ASUS Notebook F201E with real UEFI BIOS. 2. Intel i5 processor on MSI P67A-G45(B2) mainboard with some kind of UEFI BIOS too, but as far as I know, it's always booting in a standard BIOS way. I never have had a UEFI bootloader on this machine. When booting from DVD, I can see the GRUB welcome text, but with the opensuse splash sreen (shown for a few seconds before the DVD boot menu is shown) it starts using strange characters. I have attached two screenshots, one from the opensuse splash screen, and one from the boot menu itself. These photos are showing the boot menu of both PCs mentioned above. Using the same openesuse DVD 12.3-RC1 x86_64, on a virtual box machine or on my Acer D105 Netbook works fine. But they are both using a standard BIOS (non UEFI). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
