https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=362850 Summary: KDE is not recognising a new USB MP3 player. No Popup window appears. Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: puetz-tobias@web.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Other Hi OpenSuse Team, I spend some time and tried to find a similar Problem on your database but had no success. I Have got a TEAC MP3 player which is not automatically recognised if plugged in to the PC . It is not auto mounted to /media. The system finds it and it is possible to mount the device manually. I have tried it with knoppix 5.1.0 which works alright. Observed the same problem with latest Ubuntu. With Opensuse 10.2 it was sometimes working. (means: I plugged the device in and out a several times and used different USB ports then suddenly the KDE window popped up.) This didn't work out under 10.3. Same Problem with OpenSuse 10.3 on my notebook (32bit) and desktop PC (x86-64). many thanks in advance for taking care of this minor problem. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
