I can not see any info about bsc#910643; then I try to enter, I see:
"Bugzilla – Access Denied. You are not authorized to access bug #910643".
OKey, we can use SUSE solution to patch /usr/share/systemd/kbd-model-map from
systemd, if they are resonable.
My provided variant is based on /etc/X11/xdm/Keyboard.map mapping.
Let's add arabic.
For cn-latin1: "multix" is "xvariant", not replacement of "xmodel" "pc105".
If you run `localectl list-x11-keymap-variants ca`, you see, that "multix" is
legal argument. It means French (Canada) "Canadian multilingual" variant.
Khmer: yes, "grp:alt_shift_toggle" enable to change between layouts as
dokumented
http://www.x.org/releases/X11R7.6/doc/xorg-docs/input/XKB-Config.html#id2520...
You can always test yourseft:
`setxkbmap -model pc105 -layout kh,us -option "grp:alt_shift_toggle" `
sk: I try both
`setxkbmap -model pc105 -layout sk,us -option "grp:shift_toggle"`
`setxkbmap -model pc105 -layout sk -option "" `
But I am not sure, if there is difference between them.
cz: I try both
` setxkbmap -model pc105 -layout cz -variant qwerty -option "" `
` setxkbmap -model pc105 -layout cz,us -variant qwerty,basic -option
"grp:shift_toggle" `
For me it behave the same, or maybe I don't know there should be difference.
It would be better, if in this mail list would person, who use sk and cz
keyboards.
To conclude: I accept SUSE patched variant.
I also wish to include lt.std keymap, because it works for my daily usage,
though it is not in list in YaST keyboards.
And again I see, that this is just temporal solution – next openSUSE (and SUSE)
release must to rewrite YaST keyboard module, I hope (open)SUSE will use Fedora
way to don't use original kbd console keymaps and use converted from X – this
could allow to create very precize /usr/share/systemd/kbd-model-map table for
systemd.
