By undocking I mean either pressing the eject button or undocking via software. Taking the laptop off of the dock just disconnects all ports (obviously) and that's it, I can put it back on the dock just fine. The problem (again, obviously) is that the software doesn't know that it should disable devices that're connected through the dock. Rebooting doesn't do nothing, the dock stays off.
