Issues originally were combined in bug #408728 On openSUSE 10.3, "powersave -B" reports the following when AC power is disconnected: All primary batteries: Remaining percent: 100 Charging state: AC state: offline Battery 1: Type: primary Remaining percent: 100 Charging state: neither charging nor discharging On openSUSE 11.0, "powersave -B" reports the following when AC power is disconnected: AC state: online I cannot help but assume that this is related to the following issues: 1) Display does not dim when AC power is disconnected. 2) kpowersaved does not show battery information System: HP Pavilion ze4200 (Linux logs report ze4400) AMD Athlon Mobile 2400+ Display Device: ATI RS100 4336 KDE 3 I get the same results whether using kernel 2.6.25.11-0.1-pae, 2.6.25.9-0.2-pae or 2.6.25.5-1.1-pae. Let me know if you would like this split into multiple tickets. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
