http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=547734 Summary: Conflicting keyboard shortcut for gnome-do and main-menu Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: RC 1 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: badshah400@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090909 SUSE/3.5.3-3.2 Firefox/3.5.3 The keyboard shortcut for the gnome-main-menu is the windows key (meta) and for bringing up gnome-do is windows-key+space. Problem is though that as soon as you press the windows key the main-menu shows up and interferes with gnome-do's interface. Since the main-menu showing up on pressing the win-key seems to be useful to those switching over from the other side, it might be reasonable to change gnome-do's keyboard shortcut. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Hold windows-key+space Actual Results: Main-menu appears (and also possible gnome-do hidden behind it) Expected Results: gnome-do/main-menu should not have a conflicting shortcut button -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
