It will just say "Error: Can't open display:" Re-enabling IPv6 fixes the issue but is not desirable as IPv6 support remains unavailable in many areas. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Disable IPv6 on a remote machine 2.ssh -X in from other machine 3.try to run something like xclock Actual Results: You get a Error: Can't open display: message.
