https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=398630 Summary: When setting up NFS Server, YaST crashed on retry of failed repository Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: RC 1 Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: larrystotler@netscape.net QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Other When I tried to setup an NFS server under YaST, I was told that I had to install yast-kernel-server, so I selected ok. The repository evidently wasn't setup properly(which I didn't fgure out till AFTER) and when I selected RETRY, YaST crashed with the following: Media source 'http:download.opensuse.org/distribution/SL-OSS-factory/inst-source' does not contain the desired medium. If I select retry, I get: Internal Error No dialog existing Check the log file! [Close] At this point, the ncurses YaST just dropped back to the main screen. The qt version gave me the following in an xmessage: terminate called after throwing an instance of 'YUINoDialogExceptio' what(): No dialog existing YaST got signal 6 at YCP file PackageCallbacks.gcp:1946 /sbin.yast2: line 421: 4274 Aborted $ybinder/y2base $module "$@" "$SELECTED_GUI" $Y2_GEOMETRY $Y2UI_ARGS Once I corrected the lack of repository, it was OK. I believe it should have noted that I need to setup the repository or something. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
