The effect is repeatable for a specific simple file. The problem cannot be reproduced in MS-Windows. Inkscape can display the SVG file without a problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open boot.svg in Firefox Actual Results: Firefox is blocked for some seconds, then the window disappears without message.
