Up to now, I couldn't find the kind of information on which I would feel confident to choose which sound card to buy. Most manufacturer info is only hype, often their "value" is in the windows driver and that's worth zero in my ears. I have taken a look to the rg file, and I think rosegarden should be able to discard parameters of the previous synth that are no more appropriate when the user changes the synth plugin: <synth identifier="dssi:/usr/lib64/dssi/fluidsynth-dssi.so:FluidSynth-DSSI" bypassed="false" program="53. Concert Choir"> <configure key="__ROSEGARDEN__:__RESERVED__:ProjectDirectoryKey" value="/home/mm/rosegarden/"/> <configure key="load" value="/usr/share/sounds/sf2/GeneralUser_GS_FluidSynth.sf2"/> </synth> Seeing this, I got the idea that this "load" operation is perhaps not "flushed" to the synth and stays in the pipe, and that when I pause and resume this information finally arrives at the synth. Could this be ? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
