https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=274191 Summary: pam misses requires on pam-modules Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 4 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: mc@novell.com ReportedBy: rguenther@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de CC: lnussel@novell.com, aj@novell.com The default pam configuration installed by the pam package requires the pam_unix2 module which is provided by pam-modules. But there is no requires on pam-modules from pam, so installing pam and its dependencies does not result in a working system. The proposed solutions are - either add a requires to pam-modules from pam (which requires splitting off libpam to avoid a cyclic dependency) - or make the default pam config use pam_rootok only and handle our default configuration via pam-config (Ludwig suggested this) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
