http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=505650 Summary: Cannot remove binaries from :full tree Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Blocker Priority: P5 - None Component: BuildService AssignedTo: mls@novell.com ReportedBy: rguenther@novell.com QAContact: adrian@novell.com CC: adrian@novell.com, coolo@novell.com Found By: Development The useforbuild option is completely useless once packages ended up in the :full tree once. It is even harmful as then completely unintuitively a very old broken version from that :full tree is used for building irrespective of the useforbuild setting. There is absolutely no way of removing these broken packages from the :full tree (apart from deleting the package and re-creating it - losing all history). This makes it all useless. Please fix ASAP. Example project: home:rguenther, package gcc44 which has versions from Jun 2008 (!) in the :full tree. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
