Long answer - You may be able to run gnome-settings-daemon once (or just login to a GNOME session once), and then run Evolution afterwards, even without gnome-settings-daemon running. What g-s-d does is: 1. it reads the proxy settings from /etc/sysconfig/proxy; 2. it writes those settings to your GConf data. Later, applications pick up this data from GConf. Summary: login to a GNOME session once, and then go back to your KDE session, and then run Evolution. Or run gnome-settings-daemon while in KDE, kill it after a few minutes, and then run Evolution. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
