That fixes similar problems. However the fact that it says "unknown-block(8,20)", and that we see errors like: [43299.808156] ata2: hard resetting link looks like there is some recurrent hardware issue. I thought it might be a driver issue, but maybe not. John; can you try making that change to boot.md and see if it improves the situation?
