This has only happened this one time, and as I recall the only package updated
was the kernel
Here is the result of running "cat /proc/cmdline" on the currently running
system:
i7:~ # cat /proc/cmdline
BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-4.4.72-18.12-default
root=UUID=7546504e-79ac-4dc8-a384-7c62a4a82f8c resume=/dev/sda1 nosplash quiet
showopts
i7:~ #
The argument:
resume=/dev/sda1
sticks out like a sore thumb to me. (It would have been wrong trying to reboot
after yesterday's update of the kernel.)
I am also including a copy of /boot/grub2/grub.cfg
