https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=218450 Summary: ibm_acpi doesn't generate acpi event on docking with X60 Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Beta 1 plus Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Mobile Devices AssignedTo: hmacht@novell.com ReportedBy: hmacht@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de CC: trenn@novell.com, fseidel@novell.com With a x60, if you plug the laptop into a docking station, the ibm_acpi module doesn't generate an acpi event. As a workaround, I implemented a "dock request" on Fn+F11 (thanks to seife for the initial idea). But that's only a workaround. The generic dock driver gets the dock event and writes a message to syslog. This just proves that it's a bug in ibm_acpi IMHO. I will try to fix it, but if I'm not successfull, it might happen that I will need some help from Thomas or Frank ;-) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
