https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=475963 Summary: Ekiga "incoming call" window missing: unable to answer incoming calls. Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: X11 Applications AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: raul@iem.cfmac.csic.es QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009012700 SUSE/3.0.6-0.1.2 Firefox/3.0.6 Ekiga (both 3.0.1 and 3.0.2) fails to show the "incoming call" popup window when a call is received, despite the acoustic warning working OK. Given that this window contains the "answer" button, and that pushing that button is the only way to answer an incoming call in ekiga, the user cannot pick up and this renders ekiga unusable for receiving calls. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set up a SIP account with ekiga 3.0.1 in Opensuse 11.1 and have somebody call, or arrange a callback test with a server that has the capability. 2. Upon receiving the call (ekiga ringing) no popup "answer" window appears: Unable to pick up. 3. Actual Results: No popup window or notification Expected Results: Produce a popup "incoming call" window with an "answer" button. Found and verified this bug with both Ekiga 3.0.1 and 3.0.2 binaries in three different computers with different setups: OpenSuse 11.0 with KDE 3.5 on a 64-bit Turion laptop, OpenSuse 11.1 with KDE 3.5 on a 32-bit Athlon XP desktop and OpenSuse 11.1 with KDE 4.2 on a 64-bit Intel core Quad. Tested with both the ekiga rpm's included with the distribution and external ones downloaded from ekiga.org without any difference in behavior. The bug happens every time. It does not happen with the same version of ekiga in another distribution (Ubuntu). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
