I just tried to update to factory via "zypper up" and got lots of errors tyrying to retreive rpms (see below) which at first I "i"gnored (network connection worked, rpms are availabme on mirror ftp5.gwdg.de!).
exactly the same versions?
yes. checked manually with browser and cut'n'paste
I guess that's a coincidence.
very strange coincidence, but of course possible;)
Most probably an out-of-date or inconsistent repository. You probably do not have autorefresh enabled for the repo, so you need to run 'zypper refresh' when it's out-of-date. Of course zypper should suggest to do so. I'll look into that.
"zypper update" does auto-refresh (nevery configured anything for zypper so far, seems to be the default settings ?!)
why does "A" not abort ?
That's a bug.
good to know;)
BTW, please do not paste such long output directly to bugzilla, but rather put it in a file and attach it.
