What machine is this? Vendor and product name? The driver has been working pretty well over years and this kind of crash is so rare. So this is likely a bug of lower layer, which gives the wrong address to the driver. Did the driver ever work on older distros? Anyway, you can add "blacklist snd-hda-intel" to some file /etc/modprobe.d/ for avoiding the automatic loading. Then try to load manually via "modprobe snd-hda-intel probe_only=1". You may still get the same Oops. If you don't, try to get alsa-info.sh at this state again. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
