Everything works normally when booted with "Failsafe" option from boot menu. Hardware is Panasonic CF-52 Toughbook with: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] nee ATI Whistler [AMD Radeon HD 6600M Series] Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. zypper dup from 12.1 to 12.2 2. Reboot 3. Observe freeze of Plymouth animated display Actual Results: Plymouth boot screen animation stopped.
