The problem is still as in Comment 34 . The following in the last lines of the kernel install process... ________________________ sh /home/samar/kernel/linux-2.6.33/arch/x86/boot/install.sh 2.6.33-0.1-desktop arch/x86/boot/bzImage \ System.map "/boot" Kernel image: /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.33-0.1-desktop Initrd image: /boot/initrd-2.6.33-0.1-desktop Root device: /dev/disk/by-id/ata-WDC_WD1600BEVS-22RST0_WD-WXE108E24997-part10 (/dev/sda10) (mounted on / as ext4) Resume device: /dev/disk/by-id/ata-WDC_WD1600BEVS-22RST0_WD-WXE108E24997-part8 (/dev/sda8) Kernel Modules: thermal_sys thermal pata_sis ata_generic sata_sis ide-core sis5513 ide-pci-generic processor fan crc16 jbd2 ext4 Features: block usb resume.userspace resume.kernel Bootsplash: openSUSE (1024x768) 46400 blocks _____________________________ This says the Resume device is there.... I have no clue why this is not understanding my swap... Have I missed any steps in configuration or building the kernel.... The only thing I could see missing is - I have no preloadtrace.ko for new kernel ...But I think that should not be a problem ( I don't really know how to get it also).... Thanks..... -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
