http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=559587 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=559587#c0 Summary: CUA cut, copy, paste keyboard shortcuts no longer working (Shift+Del, Ctrl+Ins, Shift+Ins) Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: bnc-team-xorg-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: psychonaut@nothingisreal.com QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.1.4) Gecko/20091017 SUSE/2.0.0-3.3 SeaMonkey/2.0 Upon upgrading from openSUSE 11.1 to openSUSE 11.2 I found that the IBM Common User Access (CUA) keyboard shortcuts for cut, copy, and paste no longer work. Previously, Shift+Del would cut, Ctrl+Ins would copy, and Shift+Ins would paste. I'm not sure if this is an issue with KDE 4 or with X.org. Changing the keyboard layout with setxkbmap doesn't have any effect on the problem, and there's nothing in the KDE Regional & Language settings that seems relevant. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. In KDE 4, select some text with the keyboard or mouse 2. Press Shift+Del or Ctrl+Ins to cut or copy the text, respectively 3. Press Shift+Ins to paste the text Actual Results: Nothing happens Expected Results: Shift+Del should have cut the selection (equivalent to Ctrl+X) Ctrl+Ins should have copied the selection (equivalent to Ctrl+C) Shift+Ins should have pasted the selection (equivalent to Ctrl+V) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
